Grandma’s Cabin is a traditional Finnish wooden house that is located in Pelkosenniemi, Lapland. The place is close to nature, yet only a kilometer away from a supermarket, pharmacy, and gas station.
The top floor comprises of 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with a dining area, and a toilet. There is a bathroom with a shower, sauna, and changing room downstairs. Outside you can enjoy a barbecue place.
It’s a perfect environment for watching northern lights. The plot is adjacent to the Kemijoki river. The public beach is next to the house. In summer, the place is perfect for fishing.

Pyhä-Luosto National Park is located just 25 km away from the cabin and offers many activities throughout the year, including hiking and downhill skiing. There is a world-famous amethyst mine too. The national park is well suited for families with kids.
